No. You may take any field of study as long as you are attending a program that is at an accredited institution.
More - What is the value of the scholarship?
The value of the scholarship is $500.
More - Will everyone be contacted who applies?
Only the winner will be contacted directly. However, we will post the winner on our website after the decision has been made.
More - I will be attending first year university in the fall, am I eligible?
As long as you will be attending college or university in the US or Canada by fall you are eligible. You are also eligible if you are already attending.
More - When will the winner be notified?
We will review each essay after the deadline. The scholarship winner will be announced approx. 6 weeks after the deadline and will be posted on this website immediately after.
More - Is there an age limit to apply?
You must be between the ages of 16 and 25 to be eligible.
More - Do you accept late applications?
All applications must be received by 11:59pm ET on the day of the deadline. No late applications will be reviewed.
More - If I have won the award before, can I still apply next year?
Yes, a scholarship recipient may receive the award on multiple occasions.
